I am someone who makes a spreadsheet and does hours of research for any decent sized purchase. I’ve been using my expandable Longchamp as a personal item for the last 5 years, and while it’s an amazing bag and still looks brand-new, it’s been increasingly difficult to take it on planes due to the lack of trolley sleeve and organization. I probably compared 20 different personal item bags, mainly duffels and totes, before I came across the Bento Bag. I watched dozens of reviews of this bag and I really thought it was too good to be true. Then I received it. I tested it with so many different packs and it was everything I’d hoped for and then some. I’m currently using it as my personal item in Japan, and it has doubled as an overnight bag for when we do luggage forwarding. It’s definitely easier to travel with on top of my carry-on, but the crossbody strap makes it a little easier to carry when I don’t have my suitcase. It fits the perfect amount of stuff and the firm shape helps avoid bulkiness. I love that everything I need is right at my fingertips. I didn’t know what I was missing til I had it, and now there’s no going back. I’ve already convinced 2 other people to get this bag. If you’re on the fence, please trust in the hours of research I did and take the plunge.
I love the color and feel of the bag. Love all the pockets and organization the bag provides for my carry on items. A bit disappointed in the water bottle holder on the outside of the bag, seems very small.
I am in awe. The Bento has more room than I expected- even after reading 100 reviews and viewing soooo many YouTube videos on the Bento. I bought the Pine Green color. I was amazed at how the color matches my pine green Samsonite Ascella luggage.
After a few misunderstanding between Nomad and I, we finally came to an understanding and all is good, really great customer service , the bag ? Well this is the second one for me nuff said ????
Fits under the seat, has separate toiletries bag and accessories bag. Zippers are solid. Can pack two jeans and a t-shirt easily and can combine with some packing cubes to stuff more things also

This bag is so well thought out. Works for short weekend trips and long haul international ones as well. Everything is at your fingertips.
