Tomodachi Sling

I love the Nomad Lane bags! I have the Bento bag and Ikigai backpack and wanted to add a sling bag. I purchased the large Tomodachi sling in black. Like the other bags, it is made of a very nice water repellent fabric, which easily wipes clean. The interior pockets are great for organization. I especially like that the interior fabric is a light color so that you can find things easily. I plan to use this bag as a Crossbody, but it easily converts to a belt bag. Love the magnetic clasp. It is lightweight, but feels very sturdy. Nice and roomy. Can’t wait to use it on our Disney Cruise.

Best everyday cross body! Perfect size for an everyday purse and so comfortable on my shoulder without slipping. This is the fourth Tomodachi sling I’ve purchased and the Dusk color is beautiful! It matches my Dusk colored Ikigai backpack.

The perfect cross body for travel! Just took it for its maiden voyage on a 12-day trip to France and it performed beyond my expectations. Despite its small size, it fit all of my essentials - phone, wallet, sunglasses, lipstick, etc. and the strap is really comfortable and stays in place. Loved it so much I bought the bigger size for every day use and I love it just as much! I will definitely be buying more Nomad Lane products. The Bento backpack is also ideal for a personal item - packs almost as much as a roller board carry on!

I bought four pieces from Nomad Lane, including both sizes of the Tomodachi Sling...they are gorgeous.

The material feels soft and pleasing to the touch, while having an elevated look. It's really a posh sling! I can see this elevating any outfit that it is paired with. I grabbed a Bento Bag too and the Ikigai Backpack for the full suite of Nomad Lane travel gear.

I selected the Verde/Gunmetal color way. I absolutely love the combination. I can't wait to take the pieces on an upcoming trip.

Firstly how quickly my bento and Tomadachi sling arrived! Great packaging!! It arrived a week before my flight to Texas, I got large size, put it inside my bento bag for flight. Once there, I got a handbag to hit the streets with. I love attachment for keys . Slots for everything. Light interior helps spot items way faster! A+ .. Again, the organization compartments so good, you could tell they thought it out before creating these bags! The softness of the material and you could tell its quality. Logo does not bother me. I love magnetic closure clasp so I can easily go crossbody and for daily walks I put around my waist and load up bag no problem with magnetic coming undone . I thought I would just use it for travel but it been over 10 days since home and I’m still currently using the sling bag, it’s just so easy and feels good on my hands. I don’t know I just really love this bag. I want to come back for the small version or colors but then again I’m real happy with what I have now! I got black one it’s so versatile. Dress casual or up! Very functional bag , you’ll love it trusst!! P.S if you got the bento , make sure you don’t accidentally put ur ID’s /cards in slot for the carry on handle. Make sure you zip it below if you want it for that use. If not use other pockets. I think I may have accidentally lost my driver license that way.

Purchased the small Tomodachi sling for my recent trip and love how light, organized, and hands free it made travel and day tripping. I was able to carry sunglasses, readers, AirPods, charging cord, small sunscreen, lip balm and lipstick, gum, my slim card wallet and my iPhone 13 and still had a little room to spare. It can also easily be used in a larger tote bag, beach tote or your Bento bag for storage if you don’t want to carry it. Great travel item. Will look into getting the larger Tomodachi in the future for longer day trips / city touring when I don’t want to carry a tote bag or backpack as well.

I LOVE the color dusk from Nomad Lane and now I have the perfect airplane comfort bag to use on my flights. I couldn't be happier! The quality is top notch!

I recently purchased the Nomad Bento Bag and really loved the quality and organization so I decided to try the sling, too. It met my expectations for quality and organization. The size is comfortable and I love that the strap is detachable on one side so I can slip a ring over it to tether my sunglass case. It also fits nicely in the bento bag when I want to stow it during a flight. Awesome product!

I was amazed how much this bag holds. Also, the strap is long enough for me to adjust depending upon how I want to wear it.

Just used my Bento and Tomodachi bags for a 4 day trip to New York. What in the world was I thinking using anything else other than these bags? My Bento bag was packed with all I needed including clothes, makeup, electronics and flats. My Tomodachi bag held all my purse contents, iPhone, earbuds, sunglasses, eye glasses, wallet, lip glosses, keys, protein bars, gum, mini flashlight soo much more! Straps on both bags are adjustable and ergonomic. Easy to carry. Love the many zippered compartments on the Bento. Please don’t overthink these bags. Get them!

I ordered a black one but it would be nice to have the green that matches my luggage tote. I probably would have chosen a different color had I know it would be this challenging.

1I'm one of those women that doesn't like carrying around big bulky purses (i own a few from when I came to work in an actual ofc) and at the same time, none of my outfits ever have enough pockets.
I've been meaning to buy something similar for years now, as luck would. have it, i recently saw an ad for your products via social media. close up images along with reviews swayed me to purchase it.
The material used is very rugged. Everything seems to be very secure. Like a very high-end fanny pack. Found it very useful because it was one of the few items I could take on my person, unencumbered, while attending a large public event. I broke mine in going to my 1st MN NHL game. All the limitations and requirements in order to take something into the event were fulfilled by my purchase of the large Tomodachi Sling. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. And I'm pretty sure that despite how ROUGH and clumsy I am with my stuff, My sling will probably outlast me... It allows me to carry the bare necessities that I may need on the go- whether it's while I'm traveling/sight seeing, attending a concert/show, or attending a conference/event...freeing my arms to do other things rather than carrying ID, passport, $$$... this makes me very happy. I have and will definitely continue to recommend it to others.

Great little bag for everyday use. Keeps it shape and holds more than I need to carry.

I ordered both sizes. I am an original fanny pack lover and that’s how I still wear my sling bags. The small size is great for everyday grocery runs or quick outings. It fits my car key, wallet, iphone and tissues etc. easily. I like the magnetic clasp and how the strap adjusts to fit around my waist without having any ends hanging down. The material also feels very sturdy but soft. The small one has a single big zippered compartment with 3 smaller pockets and a small zippered pocket on the back that it too small for a normal sized iPhone, however.
The large sling bag is big enough to hold a 16.9oz bottle of water horizontally at the bottom and plenty of room for anything else. It has 2 large compartments with smaller pockets so very nice for a vacation. The strap is long enough for me (5’8”) to carry as a true crossbody bag hanging at my hip but it tightens up enough to wear as a fanny bag as well. got the pine color for the large( a nice dark blue green) and the small in the bordeaux berry ( a rich cranberry red)
One thing I would have liked to have was another zippered pocket on the front where the piping is, maybe that’s something to add in the future.

My new go to bag for keeping with me inflight. Perfectly fits everything I need or want close during a flight like my kindle, charger cords, a snack, headphones, etc. and with the magnetic quick latch you can easily run the strap through handles or around the seatback tray. Fits perfectly inside my bento bag which is always in the overhead bin with the rest of my stuff.

Finally found a great travel purse that has two separate compartments. Love the color blue and how well made it is. Even though it doesn't have RFID areas, I purchased from Magellan's blocking sleeves for my passport and credit cards, plus currency organizers that easily fit into my purse. I placed my passport inside the zipper compartment and out the way. I was surprised on how much room there was and easily accommodated everything that I need close at hand when traveling. Since there are a lot of pickpockets nowadays, I purchased from my local hardware store small clips to keep the zippers closed. The easy of removing the strap length via the magnet was very useful. Once I figured out the correct length I was going to use, I placed two zip ties around the clasp area for added protection from a thief that might try to rip off my purse. Would recommend this purse to everyone who travels.

I love this entire collection! I have 3 Bento bags, two back packs and now the small sling. Tried, true and amazing!

I can’t believe that I could love a bag as much as this one. It’s perfect for traveling and I have been looking for the perfect bag and it matches my Bento bag perfect great design and fits all my needs!
