Origami Tote

I can't say enough good things about this Origami tote bag. I love the quality. I love that it has space for everything that is necessary. The little phone pouch on the front is genius! I love that the inside is light so you can find things easily. And it fits on my carry on suit case handle nicely. I now have my eye on the backpack!

This bag has so much more capacity than it looks. The only reason it got four stars instead of five is the handles. They are not finished as well as the rest of the bag and the stitching is coming undone already - and I have only had it a few months. That said, it is an incredibly well thought out bag for travel.

I absolutely LOVE this pale pink color! The inside pouches are great for organizing important necessities. All of the zippered sections are fantastic!

I’m so glad I ordered this. All the hype on youtube says get the bento bag. It’s too big for most airline carriers. I think this bag is the solution. I got it in the pink and it’s gorgeous! Super great organization. Absolutely love the size & it’s perfect for a personal item when I fly.

Perfect for organizing and short road trips. Would like something a little bigger for longer trips out of town or abroad. Ordered the Dawn color. Absolutely beautiful!

Love it! Got the pink color to match my current carry on luggage. Used it last week on a flight and it was perfect. I had plenty of room and it fit great under the seat. Was also easy to access anything I needed during the flight. Holds way more than you think and I love how it fits on my rolling luggage. Especially like the little pocket for my cell phone (fits iPhone 16 pro max in a case) and the tether/clip in the front pocket which I used for my small travel wallet to easily access by drivers license at security.

I bought this for myself for a carry-on-only domestic trip, using it as my personal item, and it exceeded my expectations.

I was shocked by how much it held: laptop, iPad, Kindle, water bottle, travel mug, headphones, charging cords, a pen—with room to spare (I even tucked my purse in before boarding). Every item had its own dedicated pocket, so packing was quick and everything stayed easy to find. Despite being fully loaded, it never felt heavy and slid under the seat perfectly. Note: I mostly rolled it on top of my suitcase rather than carrying it on my shoulder, so I can't speak to extended shoulder wear.

The zipper closure meant nothing shifted or fell out on the go. My iPhone 17 Pro Max fit perfectly in the phone sleeve, and the bag attached to my suitcase handle effortlessly. The material feels durable and easy to wipe clean.

I also own the Bento Bag and now see clearly when each one fits: the Bento Bag is my pick when I need to pack extra (like a change of clothes), while the Origami Tote is perfect for trips where I just need my essentials as a personal item.

This bag is now a travel staple for me—and I can see it doubling as my office bag too. Highly recommend if you want something compact, organized, and genuinely functional.

I needed a bag that easily fit my laptop and other travel essentials in case my larger carry-on had to be gate checked. I love all the pockets; it helps me stay organized and find things easily. My travel water cup has a handle, though, so it doesn't fit in that designated pocket, but still fits nicely in the bag.

I am obsessed with the Origami Tote! I got it in Sahara Sand and use it primarily for work. The color is the perfect neutral. The bag is roomy enough to keep all my daily essentials organized. This bag also has a really elevated look that I love. Easy to keep clean and looks great.

I just returned from a conference where I used the tote as my personal carry-on. It fits very nicely under the seat in front of you, doesn’t get scuffed up when you pull it in and out and looks very nice. It’s a bit of an investment financially, but I’m hoping that this piece of luggage will last a very long time.

I got both sizes of the origami totes. The one with the laptop compartment is too heavy when empty but all the pocket organizing features are nice.
The larger, lightweight tote has no security clip inside, no optional strap and the outside pocket is not as wide as the heavier tote.
The bento bag is too heavy when empty. The dimensions are perfect but I don’t need a bag that opens like a suitcase.
I’m still looking for the right bag. One that will fit under airplane seats. One with accessible pockets.

The Origami Tote was everything I needed and more while not being too big to carry around on my shoulder through an airport or town. All the pockets keep things organized and make it easy to grab things while on the go OR sitting in an airplane seat! The Tomodachi sling is great for the same reason… Easy to find things quickly in a convenient spot. LOVE 💕 💕

I love this Origami bag. I have the previous bag, which is much smaller than this one. I have 2 Bento Bags. The original one and the new one. All my purchases I love the items are very well made. A little bit pricy, but you get what you paid for.

Bought this for a family vacation. It worked exactly as I expected. The internal storage was amazing! I easily could grab all my things. It feels luxury. I am extremely happy with this purchase!

I purchased a combo of Origami Tote and Tomodachi Sling (large). I love them! The tote is beautiful & very functional with very thought out pockets and zippers. I LOVE the trolley "strap" - perfect easy use compared to typical trolley "sleeve". I, also, purchased the large size Sling. It is typical Nomad Lane quality that shows years of research and care for their customers. It shows in its key strap with a perfect size pocket for key fob. And, it continues to shine with inside zipper & pockets for your everyday stuff and travel essentials. I'm so glad I purchased the large size. I've so enjoyed using it daily and I'm looking to traveling with it soon. I coveted these bags for a long time until being blessed with them for mother's day. A friend at church saw them and ordered a combo set too. I'm so thankful to Nomad Lane for these beautiful quality bags that I'll enjoy for years.

I purchased this tote because I really love the quality and usefulness of the Bento Bag and the Sling. I wanted an alternate to the Bento Bag for day trips but discovered that the tote is perfect for my art supplies for plain air painting. It has just the right size and style of pockets and is large enough to hold a pad of watercolor paper and a clipboard. It is easy to carry and sits upright without falling over when I place it on the ground while drawing or painting. The pockets for a water bottle are perfect. I did not expect to use it for this purpose but it worked out really well. Of course, I will also use it for day trips where it easily accommodates my camera gear, snacks, and things that make day trips successful. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I do love this bag. I bought to replace my Kaye spade tote. I needed something larger. I like the pockets, the light colored interior. The trolly sleeve is wide enough to fit over my suite case handle. I would but again and look forward to taking on my next trip.

The Origami tote is a fantastic bag for travel or work as it has several functional compartments, is lightweight and I love the pink color. Excited to use it on my upcoming trip as it slides onto my carryon and has a place for my laptop, water bottle & many other things.

I was so happy with my previous bento bag purchase that I knew I just had to get the tote as well. So luxurious and roomy. This tote holds so much. I use it for work and plan on using it for some road trips as well.

I have been searching for the perfect travel tote. I think this will be a winner. It is lightweight and has enough compartments for my carry on items. I especially like the outside padded zipped area.

Hands down this is the best work and work-travel tote bag out there (and I've tried just about all of them). I love everything about this tote. The laptop sleeve is easily accessible, padded and secure, yet out of the way of the main compartment. I love I can put my large nalgene water bottle in the beverage sleeve and have room for a smaller beverage bottle. The internal pockets are great for my two cells phones (work and personal phones), plus the zippers - oh my, how I love the zippers. The light interior is fabulous so things don't get lost in the "black hole" of a tote bag. Easy and attractive pull zippers without being a distraction. Plus the straps are great - nice, comfortable and secure, and easily move out of the way when I want to get my laptop out. Plus I also love how this bag can stand up on its own and doesn't easily flop over. Plus it's made of great durable material that is easy to clean off any scuffs in no time at all. I bought black, and would like to purchase a second one, but wish they came in more color options. Big fan here! Thanks Nomad Lane - I love this tote in case you couldn't tell!

I did a lot of research on this bag and feel like I made a really good decision! It has lots of pockets and lots of room. It holds my laptop, my planner and my Kindle. It has lots of room for other things as well. It’s very easy to carry, even when it gets a little heavy I’ve used it for work as well and it’s worked out great highly recommend.
