Got this for an upcoming trip. I like the material, it‘s very smooth and soft likely to repel stains and water very nicely. Lots of pockets and dividers, nicely padded pocket for my iPad Pro. I like that the bottle holder on the side has a zipper to make it more streamlined when not in use. The adjustable straps are also very comfortable and I like that there aren’t any hanging flaps when shortening them.
Great hidden zippered pocket on the back for a passport or money clip.
Looks like it will hold its shape well while stowing this under the airplane seat.

I only go into the office once a week, so I need to carry everything I need with me. This backpack fits it all perfectly. Pens, notebook, umbrella, calendar, earbuds, makeup bag, and computer all fit nicely with room to spare. My only complaint is the front pocket can be a little tight to get into when the bag is fully loaded, a gusset on one side of the pocket would help.
I was looking for a backpack for work that would double as a comfortable personal item for travel as well. Here is what I love: 1) the color, bordeaux berry, is a gorgeous red wine color, 2) the cushioned pocket fits my laptop like a plush glove, 3) the water bottle holder stretches nicely and grips my water bottle securely and when not in use in that capacity, it serves as an additional pocket, 4) the size of the backpack overall is perfect for my petite frame - it looks small (or just right on me), but fits a lot. The main con for me is that I wish the shoulder straps could tighten a bit more. I am petite and at its tightest, the backpack still hangs low on my back.
The ikigai Slim Backpack is great for weekend trips and going to work on metro. It is light, great compartments and just the perfect size. I started carrying it the day after it arrived. I have used it everyday since. Great product. It fits the need for something that is great for work and still great for trips.
