Forever I have used a backpack as my carryon. This new Bento bag actually has me feeling grown up at 60! Love the elegent look of the bag and convenience.

I will start with saying that this is the fourth or fifth personal item travel bag I have purchased. I just tried the Bento bag for its first trip and I love it! Other bags that I owned felt like large sacks where everything was swimming around inside. I felt like it was sometimes hard to find the things that I needed. The reviews for the Bento bag are fantastic, but other bags get great reviews as well. I decided to give it a try. The Bento bag really deserves great reviews! What makes it special is how accessible your items are during the flight. I was able to keep the bag upright while under the seat in front of me. When I packed the bag, I put items that I knew I would probably not use on the flight in the zippered area. This area is perfect for medication that you’ll be using later on the trip, extra clothes, makeup, etc. My iPad, book, and a few other items fit into the other side. The two zippered areas on top are a great place to put an electronics pouch and a pouch for items you might use on the plane (earplugs, Chapstick, lotion…) because they are the most accessible. This bag slid easily onto my rolling suitcase and is not too big. I got the Sahara sand color – it is a beige with a hint of pink. It was easy to see inside of the bag, and the straps were comfortable. I’m looking forward to continuing to use this bag for my travels!

Very easy to access

I recently took my bento bag to Asia. I was very pleased by how easy to access everything in the bag during the flights. The light color interior is really helpful to see inside the bag. The bag sits upright under the seat, very easy to pull out, no extra handle/straps stick out like my backpack does. Very clean and neat!

Amazing travel bag!!! Quality and hype is justified

Love my new Bento bag!!! I was on the fence because of the cost and going with a less expensive alternative but I am thrilled I was able to take advantage of the sale on certain colors and went with the Dusk color which is a beautiful dark blue / lapis / periwinkle color. I’m still getting used to not carrying a backpack as my personal item but man this bag rocks!!! I am able to fit so much more in it beyond my backpack including several items of clothes, my laptop, a 400 page paperback book, personal toiletries, a slim curling iron but I could also fit a hairdryer if I wanted, my charging cords in the tech pouch, sunglasses, vitamins and supplements, passports, hand sanitizing wipes, and I still had room to spare. I love the organization and the accessible pockets that the bag offers. It is incredibly well designed which I greatly appreciate as a mom and working professional. The quality of the handles are outstanding and make the bag incredibly comfortable to carry. It also fit well under my economy seat on United. Highly recommend if you travel a lot and like to keep yourself organized and maximize your carry on options. Although the price point is high, the quality of the Bento bag is definitely worth the investment and will result in this being a key part of my travel items for many years to come.

Best Bag I've Owned!!!

Wow! This is the most well-thought-out bag on the market. No more rummaging through your bag to find something. It's extremely well made and so beautiful. I know I'll have this bag for at least 15 years.

Mini me

I bought mine when it was on sale. Im thinking about buying my daughter one due tonshe travels quite a bit. Thus far it has been a great travel buddy for me. It gives me just enough space for a week long trip. (Shorts, Tee and dresses). However, I really wish it was just a tad bigger maybe 28 -30L. It would give enough space to carry just the Bento bag without have to have a purse or another bag with whatever didnt fit in the Bento Bag. It would be one personal item and done!!!!

This bag is genius! I was able to purchase the dusk colour which is lovely. This bag ticks all the boxes…dedicated laptop pocket, dedicated phone pocket, tsa liquid pocket, dedicated electronics pouch, and last, but not least, a section to organize your essential travel clothes. Thank you Nomad Lane!
Ps I hope to be able to get the pine green colour too🤞🤞

Bento Bag

I like the organization of the bag very much! However I wish the water bottle holder was deeper. When my bottle is full, it sometimes falls out of the bag. There is room on the side to make the pocket deeper. Also, although the sleeve is useful when traveling with other luggage, it would be nice to have a Bento style that has 2 wheels and a handle so it could be moved easily when traveling without other luggage. When full, it can be heavy to carry!
