I recently bought the Ikigai slim backpack and absolutely love it. It is able to carry a lot in really organized pockets without appearing bulky. I have been able to wear it to professional meetings even while wearing suits and it does not appear awkard. I have received many compliments on it and am planning to buy a second color! I also found that it helps with relieving shoulder pain that I used to experience with side bags.

Right out of the package it was easy to tell that the backpack was well-made out of fine material. Hard to find one that is not over-sized and meets airlines’ more stringent size restrctions.

This bag is sleek and fits so much more than you'd think. I just travelled with it and used it for my laptop and ipad as well as many of my toiletries. Very well designed!

Very roomy

Purchased as replacement for LV Neverfull which was being used as my work tote. Wanted something easy to clean + with a sleeve to go over luggage, and bonus for better shoulder straps. The bag looks very professional and pockets are well designed. It definitely does not hold as much as the Neverfull - which I anticipated - but does hold more than I anticipated. I unpacked the Neverfull and started packing the Origami and did not think I could fit it all - handles my “normal” day items but not extra magazines or side monitor that I like to travel with. However, the bag also fits so much easier underneath seat in front on flights and also floorboard of passenger seat when on road trips so will be a keeper to try out a bit more to see if I can downsize additional items for travel. The shoulder straps are well done and Mitch more comfy than the Neverfull. I have not used the cross body strap and it could come in handy, but don’t have enough room to store in the bag and will decide if I keep it on all the time just in case or remove it. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 as I wish the bag had a bit better stance to prevent rolling over with laptop in compartment and wish main section was a bit wider so items on the very bottom were visible/ not blocked when the inner pouches are full.

I searched for hours and hours over weeks looking for something that had it all. High quality nylon to take a beating, good length handles with D rings for a removable crossbody strap, quick cell phone access, secure spot for water bottle, padded laptop sleeve (bonus points for being separate), smart design, stylish and good for casual, travel, and professional situations… was I asking for too much?? After so many weeks of searching I began to think I was. I almost purchased another bag twice. I am so glad I held out for this. It is smaller than a weekender, but I think it is going to be a great under-seat bag on planes and the perfect companion to a roomy backpack for carry-on travel. Cheers to you, Nomad Lane.

Very well made work bag. I love the separate laptop compartment and the thoughtful pockets!

I wanted a roomy bag for work that would also travel well, and this is it. The color is lovely, and the fabric is sturdy. I like the fact that the laptop compartment has a separate zipper; it seems very soft and secure and fits my 15” Mac. The bag stands up on its own, which makes finding things inside easy, and it’s well organized inside. I love it so far.

I’ve been looking for a new tote for travel but struggled to find one that had all the elements that I was looking for, until this bag. It’s the right size, has plenty of pockets and compartments, and it looks great. I can’t wait to use on my next trip.

Got this origami tote as my pump bag for work. I wanted something that looks professional and is lightweight— this bag answers all of the questions. The pockets fit my Elvie pumps and an extra set of flange&container perfectly, i can also fit in my Spectra SG portable (tight with the pumping bottles, together with a small iced cooler hooked to the strap. And the zippers keep everything intact! The lightweight bag doesnt add on to the things I have to haul about to work! Very happy with this purchase

Love the shape of this tote. I’m able to stay organized AND keep my laptop secure without having a huge, bulky bag to drag around. The quality is also excellent.
